In Tiszafüred there is a market twice a week. Here you immediately have the Puszta in the Hortobágy National Park. You can reach the mountains of the north in an hour's drive.

In Tiszaszolos there is a small train station with daily connections to Debrecen (near Debrecen airport) and Tiszafüred. Wizz Air flies from Eindhoven to Debrecen a few times a week. Tiszaszolos also has good bus connections to many places in the region.
