Türje is located 7 km from the city of Zalaszentgrót, the "big" city with a pleasant centre, all major retail chains, various schools, a hospital, etc. etc. In Zalaszentgrót there is a thermal bath, 6 km from Türje.

Hévíz is 30 km away and Hévíz is known for its thermal lake, where there was a pleasant bustle in summer and winter. A few km further you arrive in Keszthely. Here you can also go to the many beaches on Lake Balaton.
