The front door opens into a hallway with a step up to a ground floor cloakroom with WC and wash basin.
There is a door out to the Moroccan style courtyard which is the perfect place to relax and unwind. A snug room off the courtyard adds to the comfort and there is a utility space in the corner of the courtyard to assist with alfresco dining and entertaining.

As with most village townhouses this house has its fair share of stairs and therefore it is probably not suitable to the elderly or anyone with accessibility issues. However, if stairs are no issue for you, this house could be ideal – the views on offer from the house at different levels makes for interest and connect you to the village at all levels.
Parking can often be an issue in many Spanish “pueblos”, but this is now much easier in Competa with the completion of a multi story car park which is a 4-5 minute walk to the house. However, the current owners often park in the Plaza Vendimia which leads on to Calle Toledo and is a 2 minute walk from the townhouse.

Competa and the Axarquia
Competa is the capital of the Axarquia region, to the East of Malaga city and has a history dating back to Moorish times.
The village is bustling and unlike many, the youngsters have remained with the influx of foreign nationals to the area making it a busy and lively year round place to live.
The narrow streets are a throw back to years gone by but the more modern plazas offer great places to relax and enjoy an alfresco lifestyle. There is a huge choice of bars, restaurants and cultural events to cater to every taste and the locally produced wine is available in abundance. Competa has an annual wine festival and many other ferias and fiestas to enjoy throughout the year.
Competa is well placed about an hour from Malaga airport and 30mins to the coastline of the Axarquia including the popular resorts of Torrox and Torre del Mar.
