The pool house also occupies two levels, and sits behind the swimming pool, directly facing the sea. The lower floor comprises a large self-contained suite with bathroom, kitchenette and a patio that adjoins the pool. This cottage sits further back (inland) on the property, nestled amongst coconut palms. The cottage is a self-contained unit comprising a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom and kitchenette.
Lush Tropical Gardens
The property boasts well-maintained grounds that are lush and have an abundance of tropical shrubs and flowers such as hibiscus, bougainvillea, ginger-lily and bird-of-paradise. Amongst the mature tropical fruit trees are to be found mango, avocado, cherry, breadfruit, soursop, banana and sour orange. There are also many other varieties of fruits and vegetables such as pineapple, ginger, dasheen (a root vegetable) and sweet potato that are in season at different times. There are also lots of quiet, shady spots to put up a hammock and simply while the time away.
Beach & Secluded Cove
The secluded sandy beach lies at the centre of the cove and is surrounded by rocky cliffs. Some of the best snorkelling on the island is to be found in and around the cove and the rocky reefs further out. Here there is an abundance of tropical fish, sea fans, and sponges. For the more adventurous, a cave and stone arch are just around the southern point of the bay.
