Surrounded by Olive groves and orchards it is in the most serene of settings, close by to the village itself is a lovely sea side promenade and a golden sandy beach and a small shelter for fishing boats.

Although it is in a rural position, close by there are two supermarkets and A petrol station, and within a 20 minute drive either way there is a choice of excellent restaurants both along the main road that by passes the village as well as at Dipkarpaz to the north and Bogaz to the south.
